Hey everyone,
This blogging thing is kind of fun. It seems like a great way to get to know a little more about each other and have a good time doing it. I really appreciate all of you who are participating and sharing some things about yourselves and your lives outside school. What am I doing this evening? Reading Eclipse--the third novel in the Twilight series. Stephenie Meyer is no great shakes as a writer (we won't be analyzing any of her prose in AP Language), but she does tell a good story and her writing isn't completely terrible. I absolutely refuse to read really bad writing--that's probably why I don't read much contemporary fiction--most of it is dreck. However, I'm enjoying these books and looking forward to the fourth one in the series. I think it will be out in the fall. I'm also thinking about going to see Prince Caspian. If anyone sees it, please let me know what you think. The Star-Telegram gave it a lousy review, but most of the time if their reviewer hates a movie, I'll like it, so I don't believe much of what he says. Anyway, time for me to go; my grandsons are here to pick up their new kitten. Our kittens have turned 8 weeks old and three of the four are now on their way to new homes.
See y'all on Monday!

I really do not understand what I am supposed to do. Am I supposed to comment, or post a new thing? Well, what kind of kittens do you have Mrs Neaves? The new Airhogs Stadium by LoneStar actually turned out to be pretty nice. I went to the home opening game yesterday, with Mrs Crane and some people from school. Although I was at the game I am still not sure if the airhogs won or lost. I think they were playing the Washington Wingnuts? If the Airhogs won it would be the first of the season. Today is going to be a lazy dad after all week of Ap testing. My brain needs a rest.

Mrs Neaves how do post a little blog thing, instead of just commenting?
Yesterday, i went to senior walk to go watch my older sister Yesenia. The years go by so fast, and I can still remember when I use to play power rangers with her. I use to make her act like the yellow ranger and I use act like the blue ranger. I still remember does days like if it was yesterday. My sister has been such a big part in my, and I guess because she always extends her arm for any situation I struggle with. Her laughs and comfort will always stay in my mind no matter what, because I love her.

My brother has had me thinking a lot lately because a comment he had made to me. He explained that we are all a vessel of energy and everything on the planet is energy. When we are all put together it makes Earth a ball of energy and we are apart of a universe that is full of energy. What if our energy that we think is so extreme, is just a small cell in a large organism? Like in the book by Dr. Seuss, "Horton Hears a Who," what if the planet Earth was just like "Whoville?" While it is a far out comment, it is interesting to think about, and if there is some big organism carrying us around, hopefully it is a gentle giant like Horton.
For Heather--Did you give me your email address? if so, you should have received an invitation to be an author on the blog. With that, you probably have to set up a Gmail email account, then sign in to the blog and click new post. It's pretty easy once you get going.

Mrs. Neaves I don't think your blog likes me very much and I am not sure if my comment was sent. I hope so.
It Is just so frustrating when you need someone's help and they completely blow you off for something like, let's say a, T.V. show? It is just this feeling of irritation and annoyance that rises. And it always seems to be so funny when someone needs help from me, it doesn't matter what I am doing, what I am in the middle of, if a am sick, studying, it doesn't matter I am supposed to jump when they say leap, but it is "different" when they are to busy to lift a finger to help me. I wish that people wouldn;t set double standards. I wish that people wouldn't be spoiled little brats that have to get there way and do not care, or even acknowledge what the people around them have to go through to make them happy. Why can't more people be caring? Why is it easier to ask for help then offer? Consideration to other peoples needs and feelings is greatly needed in this generation.
