I never saw another butterfly

I went to go see “I never saw another butterfly” the story line is quite melancholy its about a Jew girl that loses her family. She meets a boy and loses him too the only thing that would bring her joy was the thought of butterflies. The author’s purpose was to show us that when something is bad we can still bring joy to our life. The play also brought another important idea “just because your scared doesn’t mean you’re a coward.” This line is important because sometimes it’s ok to be scared even if other don’t think so.
