Part Six

Part Six [Beth]

As he ran, he looked around wildly in search of a temporary shelter that he might be able to take refuge under until the storm calmed itself. But he found no such sanctuary for there were nothing but oak trees and he knew better than to huddle under one of them knowing that he may not live to regret doing so. And being out in the country didn’t help things either for there were very few houses though…
Then he saw it. It rose up on a hill surrounded by giant ominous dark trees which held very few remaining leaves with an old stone path way winding through them up from the large rusting front gate to the wide tall double door entry. He had pasted this mansion of a medieval castle many times before but never had he looked at it as he did now.
