This past weekend, band, orchestra, and choir went to Austin for solo and ensemble state competition. It was a nice day at UT campus not raining like it was last year and not terribly hot like it was two years ago. The heat wasn’t a big deal until we had to walk in it.
It was nice at first, but then the group of woodwinds wanted to find the brass building. So we begin our journey following Mr. C who gets us lost. Comes to find out we walked in a complete circle! It was time for my ensemble to play, so I headed back. Yeah, yeah playing went great. We don’t know how sf’s are played though.
Nice trip indeed. It had it’s set backs but it was fun and the results were really, really good. Good job choir, orchestra, and band. Yeah!
