Story time... Part one of Pathway to Destiny

China, during the Ying dynasty, was a cold and horrible place. Poverty was everywhere. Farming and fishing were the only means of life. The empire was corrupt and brutal.
One was born with a special gift. One who shall suffer and go through hardship. This person would put an end to this corrupt empire.
“Mama, Mama,” cried the young five-year old girl.
“What is it Kozue?”
“The kids at school are always teasing me. They call me names and throw dirt on me. I don’t understand why. Why mama? Why me?”
Her mom embraces her closely, wipes the streaming crystal tears from her face and whispers in her ears, “Since the day you were born you’ve always been special. No one can compare to you. You are my special little princess,” she gently wipes Kozue tears with her hand and re-braids her long beautiful black hair.

hey Kat It's Beth i was reading your story and this idea hit me do you want to start a club together?
it could be a club for those of us who like writeing storys. we could make a blog that allows us to do just that. during this summer every club member would be required to make at least 2-3 posts of their own story every week. members would also be required to critique other members work so that they can improve. this way all club members would keep up on their writeing and editing ablities and have fun shareing our storys at the same time what do you think? by the way likeing the story so far!
